The modular FPPC series has been specially designed for challenging, harsh industrial conditions and functions with high reliability even in environments with steam, smoke, fire or adverse lighting conditions. Important areas of application are, for example, operator terminals in shipping, machine control systems, forklift terminals or production plants with demanding HMI applications or Industry 4.0 scenarios. The systems cover a temperature range from -20 to +70°C reliably and trouble-free.
The FPPC series is designed for 24/7 continuous operation and can be flexibly supplied with voltages from 9 to 36 volts without interference. This allows the PCs to be connected directly to a wide variety of systems via plug-and-play and without the use of a voltage converter.
The front display modules can be installed IP65-tight and are therefore dust-tight and splash-proof. If required, the housing and monitor are available with an antimicrobial coating. This makes the panel PCs suitable for applications with high hygiene requirements such as the food industry.
The LCD screens typically offer full HD resolution with 1920 x 1080 pixels and score with very high brightness levels of up to 1,500 cd/m². This means that content is still easy to read even in direct sunlight. All displays are capacitive touch-enabled, allow ten-finger taps and can also be operated with gloves or via digitizer pen for writing. Resistive 4:3 variants in different sizes are optionally available. Thanks to the fanless design, the display module has a low installation depth of 56 to 60 mm, depending on the version.
Wide range of configurations
Windows 10 IoT Enterprise LTSC, Linux, Unix, or QNX are optionally available as operating systems. The PCs are powered by freely selectable 8th generation Intel Core-i processors (7W class, Y), supported by LP-DDR4 memory from 4 to 16 GB RAM. An Android 9 version with an ARM RK3288 Cortex A17 processor is also available. All systems can be upgraded with RAM modules or can be expanded via m.2 SSD hard drives.
The PCs receive their data via two LAN and two COM ports. The serial interfaces can be configured as RS-232, RS-485 or RS-422 ports. The FPPC series offers four USB interfaces (3×2.0, 1×3.0). An additional HDMI output for a second monitor and an audio output are also available.
Additional COM and USB ports as well as a GPIO I/O are possible and can be ordered individually. A WiFi, LTE and Bluetooth interface are also optionally available. Security is provided by a TPM 2.0 encryption module.

Resellers and system houses receive attractive conditions. In projects, Concept provides support on request with the Total Preparation Service: All devices are delivered fully configured, including the customer-specific configuration and software.
In addition, Concept International offers an extension of the standard two-year warranty on request. The packages “Plus” with an extended warranty period of three to five years or “Premium” are available. The latter additionally includes an advance exchange including collection.
Concept has stock in Germany and assembles at its headquarters in Munich, which enables fast response times if required.
