The DT382GL rugged tablet from DT Research can be used universally in logistics and warehousing, in Industry 4.0 scenarios and wherever reliable mobile recording of physical – possibly even moving – objects is required. Linked with applications that can display and process object-related information, the DT382GL becomes a core component of complete IT solutions such as modern asset tracking. With the integrated RFID reader (optionally UHF with a reading range of up to 10 meters), machines, tools, vehicles or people equipped with corresponding tags can be detected contactlessly even from a distance for access control. The device can also uniquely recognize objects with barcode labels via the additionally installed barcode scanner. The GNSS module can also be used to determine the exact geographical position.
The hardware is certified according to protection class IP65 as well as the military standard MIL-STD-810G – vibrations, dust and moisture cannot harm the tablet.
The tablet is equipped with an Intel Pentium Silver quad-core in a slim case. The DT382GL has a capacitive, sunlight-readable 8-inch touch display. The rugged tablet with integrated WiFi and Bluetooth, offers hot-swappable batteries and a vehicle mount and charging option.
