The DT362GL tablet from DT Research is a real speciality: at 6 inches, it is significantly smaller than a tablet PC, but still has an Intel QuadCore CPU and Windows 10 operating system. The robust mini tablet with IP65 protection class and integrated WiFi and Bluetooth, also has an integrated smart card reader for user authentication on board and a hot-swap battery that can be changed during operation. With the optional UHF reader available, you can also equip it with a pistol grip for an easier scanning process.
Frequent applications for the DT362GL are in logistics, warehousing or Industry 4.0 environments, where it is used for reliable mobile object recognition, but also for mobile access control to government and corporate buildings. The integrated RFID reader (optionally UHF) detects objects contactlessly from distances of up to 10 m. A barcode scanner and a GNSS module can be additionally installed. The tablet runs on Microsoft Windows 10 IoTE.
