Windows Tablet DT302RP and Android Tablet DT303CI – indestructible mobile computers for industry, logistics and construction
Munich, July 08, 2024 – Munich-based value-added distributor Concept International is expanding its extensive portfolio of rugged tablets from DT Research. The robust yet slim new DT302RP (Windows) and DT303CI (Android) tablets are specially designed for use in harsh environments: In industry, logistics and on construction sites – even in continuous outdoor use in heat, cold, dirt, moisture and dust. The devices are available immediately.
Slim and lightweight rugged tablets – Windows Tablet DT302RP and Android Tablet DT303CI – weigh around 1.3 kilograms and are ideal for mobile use, for example for maintenance documentation in industry. The devices can be easily attached to construction site, logistics, and fire department vehicles using the Vesa mount. They can also be connected to a monitor and other peripheral devices via a practical charging and docking station.
These devices can be operated in cold and hot conditions (DT302RP: -10°C to 60°C, DT303CI: -10°C to 50°C). IP65 certification ensures complete protection against dust ingress (dust-tight) and protection against water jets (nozzle) from any angle. Vibration and drop resistance from at least 1.2 m is guaranteed by the military standard MIL-STD-810G. Additionally, the rugged tablets have an antimicrobial surface. Capacitive multi-touch displays can also be operated in wet conditions and with gloves thanks to an adjustable mode.
Powerful Windows: DT302RP
DT302RP can be optimally integrated into existing IT infrastructures with either Windows 10/11 Pro or IoT Enterprise. The tablet is available with the currently most powerful 13th generation Intel Core i CPU “Raptor Lake” (i7, i5, or U300), 8 GB to 32 GB RAM, and a storage capacity of 256 GB to 2 TB. A 10.1-inch, anti-glare LCD touchscreen (1920 x 1200 resolution) with its 800 cd/m² brightness ensures optimum readability even when used in direct sunlight.
USB 3.0 and USB-C ports, which can also be used for power supply in addition to the classic power supply connection, offer easy data transfer and connection of peripherals. Integrated WLAN, a LAN connection, as well as optional 4G and GPS modules, and an integrated smartcard reader ensure the best connectivity. Front and rear cameras (5 MP and 8 MP respectively), for example for damage documentation in logistics, an NFC interface, and a barcode scanner are available on request. For mobile communication, the tablet has a headset connection, a microphone, and speakers. A fold-out stand integrated into the housing at the back of the tablet allows the device to be set up while working. The SSD hard disk can be removed without tools via a service flap.
The hot-swap battery with 45 Wh (optionally 60 or 90 Wh) guarantees running times of up to seven or 14 hours. For seamless working without interruption, the battery can be easily replaced during operation.
Optional accessories include Vesa mounts with or without integrated charging function (LAN, COM, 4x USB), an attachable, full QWERTY keyboard and a digitizer pen for signatures and notes.
Energy-efficient Android: DT303CI and DT303ED
Slim and robust, the DT303CI runs particularly energy-efficiently with the Android 11 operating system. It is equipped with a high-performance 8-core processor from US manufacturer Qualcomm, 4 GB RAM, and 64 GB storage. A 10.1-inch, anti-glare TFT touchscreen (1920 x 1200 resolution) with a brightness of 800 cd/m² is intuitive to use. The Android rugged tablet has integrated WLAN, speakers, microphone, and a USB 3.0 port.
An integrated battery (36 Wh) with a runtime of up to 12 hours ensures optimum mobile working. From Q4 2024, the Android rugged tablet will be available as the DT303ED with hot-swappable batteries (45/60/90 Wh) and an even more powerful Qualcomm Snapdragon CPU.
A 2D barcode scanner, an NFC/RFID interface, an 8 MP camera and a GPS module can be optionally added to the Android tablets. A desktop charging and docking station for stationary work (4x USB, 1x HDMI, 1x optional LAN) and a digitizer pen are available as accessories on request.
List price for Windows tablet DT302RP and Android tablet DT303CI and service from Concept
The new rugged tablets are now available from Concept International. List prices for the DT302RP start at 2,070 euros net. For the DT303CI at 1,200 euros net (recommended retail price).
Sales partners benefit from special conditions and services, including roll-out support as part of the Total Preparation Service. As an option, Concept offers an extended warranty of up to five years instead of the usual two years. The comprehensive all-round carefree package is rounded off with additional insurance cover, both for leasing and for purchase.
