Value Added Distributor Concept International offers new FuturePPC I-Series and FuturePPC IK-Series – from cost-effective entry-level models to computers for the harshest environments
Munich, April 11, 2024 – Munich-based value-added distributor Concept International is offeringextremely robust and durable panel PCs with touch displays from its extensive portfolio of industrial PCs, rugged tablets and notebooks with the new I-Series and IK-Seriesfrom its own FuturePPC brand. Applications range from manufacturing and process automation to control cabinets and highly specialized environments such as commercial kitchens or cold stores. These new FuturePPC series are now available from Concept International.
The FuturePPC I series panel PCs with IP66 protection in a robust aluminum housing are ideal for manufacturing and process automation and can be used as endurance runners with Windows 10/11 (Pro/IoT Enterprise) or Ubuntu Linux as HMI (Human-Machine Interface) or for system control.
The Intel CPU-based computers can be used at operating temperatures from -20 to +70 degrees Celsius and can even be operated with nitrile gloves thanks to the front waterproof, capacitive IP66 PCAP touchscreen, even in damp, dripping or wet conditions. With the optional resistive, i.e. pressure-sensitive display, it is also possible to work with thick gloves, for example in cold stores.
The Panel PCs are available in 13 sizes from 10.1 to 24 inches with monitor brightness levels of up to 1500 cd/m2. The variants are available as SVGA & XGA (4:3), widescreen (16:10) and full HD (16:9) as well as in 5:4 format. Thanks to this maximum variety of sizes, existing systems, such as control cabinets, can easily be brought up to date or defective devices can be quickly replaced without having to modify the existing environment. The requirements of certain industrial applications, whose resolutions are programmed for specific monitor sizes, also pose no problem.
Performance is provided by either a current Intel Celeron (“Elkhart Lake”), Core-i3 or Core-i5 CPU and 4 to 32 GB DDR4L RAM. The fanless Panel PCs work in low-maintenance 24/7 operation with Intel CPUs up to the 10th generation. The voltage peak-tolerant supply of 9 to 36 volts is also important for control cabinet construction or system manufacturers, as this saves an additional power supply unit.
Flexible connectivity is provided by HDMI, USB and LAN connections for access to the network and parallel control of another, e.g. sensor network, as well as optional COM port connections for controlling devices.
FuturePPC IK series: even tougher industrial panel PCs
The FuturePPC IK series, which is available in a fanless aluminum or stainless steel housing, offers even greater protection with IP69K certification. This means that the computers are completely waterproof and dustproof. They are also resistant to rust, shock and vibration and have fully encapsulated, waterproof I/O ports made of stainless steel, which enable optional connections for 1x HDMI, 2x LAN, 2x USB, 1x COM ports. The computers are also available with WLAN and Bluetooth on request.
The FuturePPC IK series is available with PCAP or resistive LED touch display from 12 to 24 inches and a luminosity of up to 1500 cd/m2. There is a choice of Intel Celeron, Core i3 or Core i5 CPUs and 4 to 16 GB RAM.
Panel PCs from FuturePPC are not only durable, but also meet high hygiene requirements by withstanding high-pressure and high-temperature washes and acidic cleaning agents. This makes them particularly suitable for use in the food, pharmaceutical and chemical industries.
Comprehensive service for individual requirements in the industry
